In the spring of 2018, while studying in Valencia Spain, I bought my first water color palette. From this 2 euro palette and the guidance of a new friend, I started painting.
When I arrived back to the United States, my backpack was full of watercolor ‘sketches’. Pages of delicately painted feet, lips, eyes, lolipops and hands.
I still find myself drawn to body forms. Unembodied feet, torso, and trunks. Below are some of these form, starting with watercolors and including pen and eventually colored pencil sketches.
